Hi, Im using the WinCVS 1.2 client. When I try to checkout a certain module from a repository, I get the ***cvs exited normally with code 1***. The cvs server is running on CentOS 4.5 After taking help from some other mailing sites I was able to do cvs -t checkout module-name U accounts/finance/Salary/Keihi/Pramod/<8c>o<94>ï_PramodK.xls -> rename(.new.<8c>o<94>ï_PramodK.xls,<8c>o<94>ï_PramodK.xls) -> chmod(<8c>o<94>ï_PramodK.xls,100666) -> chmod(<8c>o<94>ï_PramodK.xls,100444) -> Register(<8c>o<94>ï_PramodK.xls, 1.1.1.1, Wed Jun 12 13:23:44 2002, -kb, ) S-> Lock_Cleanup() S-> unlink_file(CVS/Tag) -> unlink(CVS/Tag) S-> rename(CVS/Entries.Backup,CVS/Entries) S-> unlink_file(CVS/Entries.Log) S-> rename(CVS/Entries.Backup,CVS/Entries) S-> unlink_file(CVS/Entries.Log) S-> rename(CVS/Entries.Backup,CVS/Entries) S-> unlink_file(CVS/Entries.Log) S-> rename(CVS/Entries.Backup,CVS/Entries) S-> unlink_file(CVS/Entries.Log) S-> rename(CVS/Entries.Backup,CVS/Entries) S-> unlink_file(CVS/Entries.Log) -> rename(CVS/Entries.Backup,CVS/Entries) -> unlink(CVS/Entries.Log) *****CVS exited normally with code 1***** After doing this I removed the Pramod folder from the repository and ran the same command again cvs -t checkout module-name U accounts/finance/Salary/Keihi/Pavan/PavanAgrawal_200205.xls -> rename(.new.PavanAgrawal_200205.xls,PavanAgrawal_200205.xls) -> chmod(PavanAgrawal_200205.xls,100666) -> chmod(PavanAgrawal_200205.xls,100444) -> Register(PavanAgrawal_200205.xls, 1.1.1.1, Wed Jun 12 13:23:42 2002, -kb, ) S-> Lock_Cleanup() S-> unlink_file(CVS/Tag) -> unlink(CVS/Tag) S-> rename(CVS/Entries.Backup,CVS/Entries) S-> unlink_file(CVS/Entries.Log) S-> rename(CVS/Entries.Backup,CVS/Entries) S-> unlink_file(CVS/Entries.Log) S-> rename(CVS/Entries.Backup,CVS/Entries) S-> unlink_file(CVS/Entries.Log) S-> rename(CVS/Entries.Backup,CVS/Entries) S-> unlink_file(CVS/Entries.Log) S-> rename(CVS/Entries.Backup,CVS/Entries) S-> unlink_file(CVS/Entries.Log) -> rename(CVS/Entries.Backup,CVS/Entries) -> unlink(CVS/Entries.Log) *****CVS exited normally with code 1***** But im getting the same error again.
