I do not remember you mentioning Vista in the original e-mail. Vista
required CVSNT 2.5.04, look in cvsnt.org/archive for the most recent
2.5.04 build. Note: some users have complained that the control panel
for 2.5.04 does not work in Vista, but it works OK on our test machine,
so if you still have the problem after upgrading to 2.5.04 please
contact us again.

Finally, you can also run the init command from the command line - but
you must have elevated permissions ( in vista even the administrator
cannot modify the "local machine" registry). If you create a shortcut
on your desktop and put the init command in that, and set the shortcut
to "run with full priv" (or something to that effect, I don't use Vista
on a day to day bsis yet).
