[cvsnt] Problem tagging a branch by date

I'm certain that cvs tag (not rtag!) in a sandbox that is on a branch tags
the sandbox revision -- that is, the revision on the branch. I do this a
lot.

However, I don't do this with the -D option, so what you say may still be
true and a consequence of the way -D works. I almost never use -D and I
think I never used it for tagging, so I have to leave this to someone who
has more experience with it.
