Setup
It's nice to do the setup to get your username instead of the DNS name of the computer you're on as the author. Click the "UserPreferences" link in the upper-right corner. It'll automatically save your info in a cookie so you won't have to on that computer again, and it'll give you a ID code in case you've already created the account on another machine | browser.
Create New Page
Just type the new page name at the URL, and it'll have a page saying "I can't find it" with a link to "create this page". You can also create a link in an existing page--linking to something that doesn't exist, and that will show up special in wiki so that you can create it when you click on it. I prefer the type-it-in-url method since then I know when it is available for everyone to view.
Link from the start page
You have to ask Tony to do that since he is in control of that one and it is marked immutable.
Images
After you save the page, you can upload files to it. At the bottom of your new page, you'll see "Attach File". Fill in the details (e.g. filename: "c:\temp\mypic.jpg", mime: {blank}, rename to: "test-picture.jpg"). Then, to insert the picture, put "attachment:test-picture.jpg" where you want it to go.
Example: Look at
http://www.cvsnt.org/wiki/GlenStarrettTest and you'll see I have the following code:
