Stop. the diff/Makefile.am an diff/Makefile.in do point to the old C-version of the file, but Tony has switched to C++. So Makefile.am has to be updated and the automake stuff has to be re-run... May be Tony is doing that and commiting the results soon? (I'm not able to do so, cause I'm using automake 1.7.2 and Tony is using 1.6.3.
