I don't know - but when  you find out please commit the fix to
cvs.cvsnt.org

Our installers do that sort of thing in the RPM, so if you are not using
an RPM - yes you will need to do it yourself.   You'll find some sort of
template to work on in cvsnt/redhat I'd think.
