Hello,

Is there a way to automatically update a file when somebody performs a cvs
edit on it
to ensure that people have the latest version?

I'm getting a bit tired of sorting out problems at work where people have
edited binary
files prior to ensuring that they have the latest version.

Is there an entry I can put in the .cvsrc file?

As we're using locking ( yes I know its bad but its not my decision), is
there a way to ensure that
a user can not edit (lock) a file if there is a later version on the server
- so long as there are no sticky tags
on the file?

Thanks,
