Is the repository still comptible in the other direction?

CVS -> CVSNT?

If not:
  are there automated ways to convert them?
  what CVS options does CVSNT not support?

Since I don't have control of the Unix box that I am using, and it has 
CVS installed, this is not an option for me right now, but I would like to 
backup my repository and have some sense of security that I will be 
able to resore it quickly on my desktop in case something happens.
