This question has probably been asked already a few times.
I've got an ISP who offers me ftp as well as ssh access to my
server-directories. Since I understand that CVS does not support FTP as
a valid protocol I would like to know if it is possible to run CVS
checkin and checkout commands via SSH in a client-only mode (in other
words, no cvs-server is running on the server) ?

Thanks for your help

Regards Lampos Ferekidis
