Ahh I see you're problem.  What you're doing won't work.  You *must* commit
the added file before using something as drastic as -r to change its revision
number (As I said via email, the whole -r thing should be removed really).
There are several things that break if you don't commit added files, which are
on the list of minor fixes to do sometime (I just need to make it a fatal
error to attempt it).
