Anyway, it's better to save to XLS to XML or HTML, this is what we're doing
here. Using these, cvs can merge the changes that another user made into
your version. (Only sometimes you'll get some conflicting lines that were
changed by both users (f.e. excel saves the current cursor position), but
these can be fixed easily by a text-editor / notepad)...

Furthermore, these XML/HTML can be edited with Excel as if it were a XLS
file... (double clicking HTML opens probably opens the browser by default,
but excel will appear in the context menu).
