editor screwing up on the non-unix repository string containing the drive letter...

On the off chance that your I: drive is a network drive, you should know
that others have had issues with that and it isn't supported--in other
words, be careful!  Search the mailing list archive for the messags I'm
talking about, late last month timeframe.
