Hello!

A good day to you all. Can CVSNT be used with EFS, i.e. a pserver setup with an encrypted repository?

My setup consists of CVSNT 2.0.11 installed on w2k sp2; i am using WinCVS 1.2.0 as cvs client. i created a dir named d:\cvs, and encrypted it using a user account with admin rights.

i came across the ff error message on wincvs during logon:

"cvs [login aborted]: unrecognized auth response from 192.168.100.100: cvs server: E cannot open d:\cvs\testing: permission denied"

After that i changed the user account for the CVS and CVS Lock service (under the Logon tab) to the same w2k user account i used to encrypt the CVS repository. i got a "Server has insufficient rights to validate user account" error. i think this is because i didn't use the local System account.

   Any comments/suggestions? Thanks!
