[cvsnt] cvs checkout -d problem?

This command works in cvs 1.11.5, but not in cvsNT 2.0.41a.  I tried it
both with and without a trailing slash on the name.  Also, the directory
c:\testcvs\relp\ exists.  Am I doing something wrong?
