[cvsnt] Able to connect and import, BUT UNABLE TO CHECKOUT (and other ?)

sspi should with with and without a domain--I'm not sure why you are 
having trouble with it like that (but my test machine is on my domain, 
so I can't check so easily...).  Have you tried the option in control 
panel for using local users?
