[cvsnt] cvs [server aborted]: cannot rename file 2.0.58b

I'm getting this too.  Moving from WinXP+CVSNT 2.0.14 to Win2003+CVSNT 
2.0.58b with new hardware.

Changes in CVSROOT work fine, but in other parts of the repository (which I 
copied) I get the "cannot rename" message.
