Hi -

I'm using:
  - WinCVS 13b170-2
  - on Windows XP/Professional SP1
  - "local" access; my CVS repository is c:\CVSROOT

I've inherited a project ("x2") that consists of a bunch of components, each spread out over a bunch of subdirectories.

QUESTION:
How do I force the "HEAD" back to the Aug 17 version for a specific set of subdirectories?

Is this correct?
- WinCVS,
    <Select>newdir
      <R-click>, Checkout module...
        [Checkout settings]
         Module name: x2\shared
        [Checkout Options]
          By date= Y, Date= 17 Aug 2004
        [OK]

      <R-click>, Checkout module...
        [Checkout settings]
         Module name: x2\menus
        [Checkout Options]
          By date= Y, Date= 17 Aug 2004
        ... <= REPEAT FOR EACH SUBDIRECTORY: "X2\SHARED", "X2\MENUS", ETC...

Having checkout out the Aug 17 version of these subdirectories, how can I check it back in and force it to be the new "HEAD"? Independent of tags or branches?

TIA .. Paul Santa Maria
