There was a problem with loginfo in 1910.  Try the current stable, 
2.5.01.1927 -- it fixed the loginfo problem for me.  I upgraded to 1910 
and my cvsspam broke, upgrading to 1927 fixed it with no other changes.

Note that I haven't seen or tested your specific situation, but since 
there are fixes in the current stable relative the area you are having 
trouble with you should upgrade and check that version.
