Would that it were that easy. <g> The commercial products built on
Eclipse (like WSAD) are expensive, so in practical use they don't track
the Eclipse updates. Lots of people like me still using 2.1.1 under
the covers, and bouncing off CVSNT. Fortunately, the warning about the
"prefix issue" is there, so users know that something has to be
changed, they just don't know what. And yes, the IDE guys could do a
much better job of documenting the issue for users.

Just so the workaround gets stated for posterity in this thread, on the
Control Panel of the newest version (2.5.01.1927) under the
Compatability tab, select 'Non-cvsnt clients' in the first combobox and
check the 'Emulate -n checkout bug'. You might also need the 'Respond
as cvs 1.11.2 to version request', but so far I'm running okay without
it (on WSAD 5.1.0). By default the 'Hide extended info' box is also
checked.

BTW, what's the default for cvsnt compatible clients? I have 'Respond
as 1.11.2' checked, but that could be me pushing the wrong button.

Thanks for the reply.
