Hello list, Hello Tony,

our CVSNT installation was started before the repository prefix or
even repository name feature. Therefore we still use a repository name
containing a full path with drive letter to connect.

To slowly shift over to a better repository name I now would like to
setup a parallel entry in the repositories list using a new name, but
still have the old name available for active working copies.

Example:
   Old name: C:/bad/path/to/repo
   New name: /repo

Is this possible? Will concurrent access to the repository over the
different repository name be handled correctly? (e.g. does the
LockServer work with the physical path)

Thanks for your comments,
O. Koltermann

BTW: The LockServerProtocol page in the wiki seems to be out of
date. When sending "Lock Read Advisory Directory|c:/repo/test" I get
the answer "001 FAIL Unknown flag 'Directory'". CVSLock Version 2.1.
