It's a bit distracting though that the complaining only happens after
the fact, i.e. when you attempt to run a command on a thus updated
directory. The malign update that results in the sticky numeric
directory tag itself goes through without complaint. And there's no way
to undo this without hacking the sandbox metadata as not even a cvs up
-A would be accepted anymore at that point.
