In theory... you could of course move the data somewhere else, archive 
it offline, pretty much anything you'd do with sql data anyway.

In practice it's not big enough to worry about it in the short term... 
longer term you either let the database get bigger indefinately or work 
out how much you want to keep... depends on what the audit is for.
