I'm not sure if it is even necessary at this point -- does SSPI work for 
you with the syntax:  ":sspi:user at server:/repos" ?  Since you're using a 
workgroup with low level security anyway, wouldn't that work for you?

Personally, I think if you really want a seamless integrated login then 
you need to get a domain.  That's what it is meant to do -- make it easy 
to share resources across a domain.
