Hi,

when a lock text is specified with "cvs edit -m" is this text anywere
visible in the system?

I tought that "cvs editors" would show it, because it would be interesting
what a other developer is intending to change, but that command just shows
the bug-id if specified.

The docu for "cvs edit" just says that
"-m message Specify a reason for this edit. This message is made available
as an option to the trigger libraries and notify script."

Wouldn't it make sense to also show it as output of the "cvs editors"
command?

-Patrick
