This was originally found with cruise control, but I can reproduce it
at the command line from my workstation. Cruisecontrol is running on
a third machine (not the server, and not my workstation), but that
said, I will also ask on the cc newsgroup.

Good suggestion in an ideal world, but I don't have a separate linux
server for testing, and cannot change my production box. This was a
stable release when I installed it. I am not opposed to upgrading,
but only if I have a good reason, and so far, it does not appear that
the reason for this problem is known.

It is unrealistic to always upgrade a production server to the most
current version, especially without a compelling reason. It is also
unrealistic to spend my time testing all stable releases. I barely
have time to read...some...of this newsgroup. Six months is not long
in terms of software releases. I understand this open source product
keeps growing, and has many releases, and I think that is good, but it
is hard to say that someone should not use a stable release for more
than six months. As I said above, if I find a known bug, with a known
fix, I'm more than happy to consider an upgrade.

This server was loaded from the linux RPM, and was not built locally.
Upgrading to RHEL 4 is also an option...and I am working on getting
the test server to do this with.
