Is this CVSNT?  We definately store centuries.

2000.01.01 is not a parsable date either...

It sounds like you're using a non-Y2k compliant client/server somewhere.

f$ cvs diff -D 2000.01.01
cvs [diff aborted]: Can't parse date/time: 2000.01.01

$ cvs diff -D 2000/01/01
cvs diff: Diffing .
cvs diff: no revision for date 2000. in file ChangeLog
cvs diff: no revision for date 2000. in file Makefile.am
