Edited reponse. Would you also like me to test XP pro server in 2K PDC domain? -----Original Message----- From: Brian Post Sent: Wednesday, 1 March 2006 5:48 PM To: 'Arthur Barrett'; 'cvsnt at cvsnt.org cvsnt downloads at march-hare.com @CVSNT on Twitter CVSNT on Facebook' Subject: RE: [cvsnt] Re: 2.5.03 build 2252 testing PDC used for tests was 2k sp4 advanced server DMERND200. Installed build on 2k3 sp1 server and was able to login & logout on 2k3 server DMERND204. Installed build on another 2k sp4 advance server and was able to login & logout on 2k server DMERND201. BTW can't run test with NT PDC as that machine no longer exists Cheers, Brian -----Original Message----- From: Arthur Barrett [mailto:arthur.barrett at march-hare.com] Sent: Wednesday, 1 March 2006 9:56 AM To: Brian Post; cvsnt at cvsnt.org cvsnt downloads at march-hare.com @CVSNT on Twitter CVSNT on Facebook Subject: RE: [cvsnt] Re: 2.5.03 build 2252 testing Brian, >It isn't something simple like promoting 2K DC to 2K mode instead of NT >compatible mode? There are lots of theories - even some very good ones, but our question at this point is how widespread it is (ie: does it occur in other places). >If need be I can verify with a NT primary DC with 2K servers. Just install the latest testing build 2252 and leave all the default settings in the control panel - just create a sample repo and then: cvs -d :pserver:DOMAIN\user at localhost:/repo login If you also have 2K PDC and 2K3 cvs server to test that'd be great. Thanks, Arthur
