You'll want to use the CVSNT client from within the server the same way 
you would as from the client (e.g. using a proper client-server protocol 
like SSPI, sserver, or even pserver).  Mixing using the local protocol 
and a server setup is asking for trouble (has to do with file locking 
and tracking that).

There is no special setup you need to do to accomplish that.  Just make 
sure your cvsroot starts with :sspi: or :sserver: or :pserver: before 
the server name.
