It's been awhile since I looked at the restrictions around 
impersonation, but I believe the impersonated credentials are only valid 
on the local machine -- that is, you can't be impersonated on a server 
then have that server use your credentials to connect to yet another server.

There are other ways around this though -- you might be able to include 
  a username with password in the net use command, for example.  I'd 
have to fiddle with it to come up with a solid way, but it can be done.

FYI, The shadow system is designed for shadow sandboxes on the CVSNT server.
