Anyone know who maintains that build?  

I'm not sure if 2704 was anything other than an interim build (it could
have been a commercial release for a specific customer - but the number
does not look familiar...)  Current stable should be and
current testing is (will go stable soon).

Maybe the repo should have a 'current stable' alias tag and a 'current
testing' alias tag to make it easier for others to pull the correct
version from the tree.  There certainly is no tarball for
