Turns out any cvs command will take a long time to complete with the firewall enabled. The moment I turn my firewall off (both xp and vista), it completes all the commands almost instantaneously. I am trying this for XP Professional with SP2 and Vista with SP1. The backend server is RHEL Linux System.
Thanks.> Subject: RE: [cvsnt] CVS and Firewall> Date: Wed, 11 Jun 2008 09:17:52 +1000> From: arthur.barrett at march-hare.com> To: albu70 at hotmail.com; cvsnt at cvsnt.org cvsnt downloads at march-hare.com @CVSNT on Twitter CVSNT on Facebook> > Al,> > > I have never been able to get CVS to work with either the XP > > or Vista Firewall.
