This problem will go away with the stable 2.5.04 since 'release candidate' will not be in the string anymore making it shorter. I don't really want to change field sizes, however I did think I'd already modified the newer servers to truncate the client_version field, but looking at the code, apparently I have not. So I have now done this. The only workaround for using old servers with the latest RC then is to increase the size of the client_version field in sessionlog. Regards, Arthur
