[cvsnt] edit aborted: current directory contains an invalid character

I just ran into the above error when trying to do 'cvs edit' on a
directory that has a comma in the name.
 
Some googling revealed that this restriction was added around CVS
1.11.1, because some characters cause trouble when parsing the
CSV/fileattr file.
 
But, seeing as CVSNT uses an XML format file, I guess this restriction
could be removed without any problems?
